Ala Kukui (Pathway of Illumination) is a retreat center located in Hana, on the island of Maui. Inspired by Hana's powerful landscape and by the cultural values rooted in the region's Native Hawaiian community, Ala Kukui is a gathering place for Hana community members, a forum for global and local residents to engage with one another, and a resource for education and other practices that support a harmonious life.


Mission

The Mission of Ala Kukui is to strengthen and enhance relationships among spirit, land, ocean, and all life forms they support in our islands and throughout our global community. By sustaining these relationships, we enable lokahi (the harmonious balance of life) to flourish.
